<p>Prodrive Hunter je homologizovateľné auto od značky Prodrive, ktoré vychádza priamo z rely špeciálu určeného pre najnáročnejšiu rely na svete &#8211; na rely Dakar, ktorá sa už nejaký ten ročník odohráva v púšti Saudskej Arábie. </p>



<p>Prodrive Hunter je Ferrari do púšte, ako o ňom hovorí David Richards &#8211; šéf tímu Prodrive. Toto auto je ideálne na nákupy, na návštevu kultúrnych podujatí. Ideálne ho zaparkovať na parkovanie vyhradené <s>pre invalidov</s> pre elektromobily. Aj preto, lebo auto má nádrž s kapacitou 480 litrov. </p>

<p>To preto, aby upravený motor od Fordu, 3,5 litrová benzínová Ecoboost V6-tka s výkonom presahujúcim 600 koní a s krútiacim momentom cez 700 Nm len tak nevysmädla. Najmä nie niekde v strede terénneho dobrodružstva. </p>



<p>Ak by ste začínali mať dojem, že je to soft verzia rely špeciálu a ani vyššie uvedená motorizácia vám nič nenaznačila, spomeniem azda len to, že auto má tlmiče s ešte vyšším zdvihom ako má rely špeciál. Celkový zdvih je 400 mm, čo je o 50 mm viac ako Loebov kus. </p>

<p>Auto dosiahne rýchlosť 100 km/h z pevného štartu za 4,4 sekundy a vraj vie ísť až 300 km/h. A to na terénnych kolesách s rozmerom 35 palcov. Pravda, nie je príliš uveriteľné, že aj s terénnymi gumami, ale beztak sú to úctyhodné čísla. </p>



<p>Hunter má šesťstupňový automat s radením s pádlami pod volantom, má pohon všetkých kolies s tromi uzamykateľnými diferenciálmi a má už aj prvého majiteľa. Je to nejaký Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, vraj vedúcko v Bahrajne. Prodrive urobí 25 týchto špecifikácií, cena jedného je 1,25 milióna libier. </p>

<p>Na nový Hilux sa už teším. Vraj by som ho mohol aj testovať. Po facelifte dostal silnejší motor, konštruktéri sa pohrali aj s podvozkom, výbavou a dodali mu nové technológie. Ešte nemal vyšší výkon a ani taký zaujímavý dizajn. </p>

<p>Ale toto je niečo iné. Toto je Hilux pre Rely Dakar 2021, ktorá sa začne v januári budúceho roka. Prípravy sú tak v plnom prúde a Toyota práve predstavila auto upravené na novú sezónu. Novinky sú podobné ako pri sériovom modeli najmä na podvozku a v motorovom priestore. </p>



<p>A práve tam je to zaujímavé. Špeciál má okrem nezávislého zavesenia kolies a pohonu všetkých kolies poriadne výkonné srdce. Motor V8 má objem 5,0 litra, atmosférické plnenie a je umiestnený za posádkou, teda v strede auta pre ideálne rozloženie hmotnosti. </p>

<p>Toyota zatiaľ nezverejnila špecifikáciu, no minuloročný motor mal výkon 390 koní a krútiaci moment 620 Nm. </p>



<p>Vážne, nechceli by ste sa v ňom previezť. Niežeby som to ponúkal. Ale ktorý motoristický fanúšik by si nechcel sadnúť do tohto auta a vydať sa s ním do dún? Žiaľ, toto privilégium má len zopár ľudí. Konkrétne štyri posádky pre Dakar 2021. Na čele tímu Gazoo Racing na Dakare bude opäť Nasser Al-Attiyah a jeho navigátor Mathieu Baumel. Pred dvomi rokmi Dakar vyhrali, minulý rok boli druhý. Na Dakare ich doplnia ďalšie tri posádky. </p>
